Detroit Auto Show

After living in Toledo for almost six years, we decided to make the one hour drive up to Detroit for the auto show for the first time. The kids never seem very excited about a road trip that doesn't include a DVD player and seeing their cousins. But we had a great time. Oddly enough, it seemed like we spent the most time in the Mercedes display. The kids especially enjoyed the seat controls. Did you know those front seats lay all the way back. Sarah made the mistake of sitting behind Tanner and discovering this by having her toes smashed!
The Mini Cooper display had a fun car simulator thing that kids got to drive.
The M&M car was a big hit!
There were a few concept cars that were straight out of a sci-fi film. Fun to see what the future might hold!

The last two weeks

Santa came to visit.

Grandma and our cousins came to visit.

Twelve six and seven year-olds helped celebrate Tanner's birthday!

A little home improvement.
